*NEW* 2-Bedroom PENTHOUSE Condo Unit Centrio Tower(beside Ayala Centrio Mall) Downtown CDOC

3-5min from shopping mall... Staffed 24hrs..... 7/11 down stairs..... Transport options 10m away..... Great view.

Cockroach issues.... Insect spray smell..... Small beds in big rooms (Means no comfort/Lux)...... Worn out furnishings and coverings/fittings and fixtures (Decreasing overall ambience of room).... Such a shame for a large space with the best views in a great location.

So close (walking distance) to 6 shopping malls and restaurants. Guards and concierge were very hospitable and friendly. Pool is good however you have to pay 100 pesos for weekdays and 150 pesos on weekends (this is common in the Philippines). Some condos would even charge 300 pesos. Nice and safety parking area (again, it’s a 300 pesos per day). HOT SHOWER WAS THE BEST THING IN THIS CONDO. Philippines condo usually cannot provide hot water because of some building system etc or wrong structure of the building. But who knows?!?

Whilst the condo is close to the shop and is up the 22nd floor. Good place and in good position. As tourists and condo owner myself abroad, the condo is not really a penthouse nor a luxury condo. Luxury condo means to have no way of being greeted by and spraying roaches (cockroaches) with chemicals all day and night. Even the roaches go inside the fridge. Luxury condo is more of having the means to have complete cutleries such as a complete set of spoon, fork and knife for dining, having toilet roll in, clean bathroom (no gunk and yucky expressions when touching the bathroom wall, internet kept on fluctuating, complete set of kitchen amenities. Heck, I would even provide filtered water to my guests to kept them happy and feeling like they are on holiday and they don’t need to shop for new cutleries, kitchen amenities etc. That is more reason why people go on Holiday and stay in hotels and condos. To feel like they don’t need to clean and buy all the things they want to get away with. However, this scenario is very common in the Philippines (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao). Everywhere you go, condos seem to have a lot of roaches and unsafe structures. So, I can’t really blame the condo owners as well. Even though it’s nice being at the 22nd floor ( the last floor on this building) is that because the hotel is near to ktv bars, shops etc. The master bedroom gets all the noise from the ktv bar at night and it goes until 2-3am in the morning. It is irritating and disturbing that we found it hard to sleep and just focuses on staying the other bedroom or in the lounge-room.

Location was good, near different malls.

There where bugs, and also bugspray but the spray did not work…

Location is perfect for my purpose.

Unit is not clean and plenty of cockroaches.

Security

First the “penthouse” is misleading because this propert is not a penthouse. Other problems: 1. There was NO toilet paper or hand or face towel in bathroom 2. There was NO trash bin or bag in kitchen, no microwave or laddle to use to cook or any food 3. The AC motor was super loud in addition to loud music way past midnight playing outside that may have a bar or club. It was hard to get any rest. 4. Living room bed was not clean 5. Bathroom did not look clean 6. You need a big poster signage about merchandise for purchase, not hadwritten in a small piece of paper For almost 4000 pesos per night, you need better accomodations.
