Appartement De Croone

It was a lovely large apartment spread over 3 floors. Kitchen had everything. Full bathroom and an extra toilet on the bedroom floor.

The stairs were narrow and steep. These take getting used to especially if you are unfamiliar with Dutch style stairs. All good, just don’t expect to run up or down the stairs.

If you wish to be in the absolute center of Middelburg (which we did) it would be difficult to find a better place to stay. The space was clean, and the beds were really comfortable.

I would say the only surprise was the noise from the restaurant downstairs. It might have been mentioned in the description, but I did not notice it. We were so tired, we slept right through it, so it wasn't a major deal. It was also graduation weekend - so there were a lot of people in the streets.

We loved the space --- it was full of light and had lots of thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. The kitchen had all of the utensils and things we needed to cook, which was great! The patio was also a wonderful place to eat dinner and relax!

The bar downstairs is very, very loud until the early hours of the morning. It's not so bad if you shut all the windows.

Clean, very comfort appartment in the middle of the town. Owners quickly reacted and helped us on few questions.

It was real easy to communicate with our host. Middelburg is a wonderful place to be with great pubs and shops.
