Onverwacht zaten wij in It Bûterhûs tijdens de feestweek. Hierdoor konden wij genieten van diverse activiteiten, met als kers op de taart de gondelvaart op donderdag avond.

"A comfortable apartment with everything you need"

The location is very nice, right in the centre of Balk on the river; one night there was a street party so it was a bit loud, but otherwise very pleasant. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable; there are some low beams however so if you are tall be careful when getting out of bed. Our host was very helpful and even allowed us to park our 1933 car in their garage so it was off the street at night!

The decor was a bit grey, but that is not a criticism - it just isn't really our taste!
