Only issue was it was up 2 flights of steep steps. However, it was a second floor apartment so should have been expected! View was spectacular

There was still laundry in the washing machine and not much space to hang clothes a part from that everything was top

The host was very nice, on time, and told us everything we needed to know. The location is great, city center is quickly reachable and a bike path starts just outside the door at the beach. Washing machine and dryer are available and are also modern machines. The only thing we were missing was a toaster. Apart from that, there was nothing to complain about. Thank you to Rene!

sadlynumber on booking.com did not match his number so we had some trouble getting hold of the owner, who, although knowing we would be there between 2 and 3, was not at the property to greet us as promised. When settling in, it turned out that all the bedding was still in the dryer and it sadly took me another few hours to dry it all as there was way to much in the drier for it to work. I had to take half of it out and put it on another cycle. No big deal but you just want to crash really and not making 4 beds as the end of your day travelling. When we went to bed at 10, my daughter wanted to leave a light on for the night for me, just in case I got up in the night. She wanted to plug a light in by the tv and got a shock when she did. Turned out that there was no cover on the plug hence she got a nasty shock of electricity through her. Her hand had not stopped twitching for hours after. Anyway, when informing the owner of our findings, we were met with the answer which implied it was us who took the cover off as it was fine when he left 🤔 No word of sorry, how is your daughter.. only accusations that we somehow done this ourselves. After blaming us for thus, I felt Booking.com needed to know our findings to safeguard any other visitors, after all, if this was a child or someone with heart problems, it might have been a different outcome. Sadly booking.com took his word that we were all of a sudden a nuisance to his neighbours ?? and we broke things in his property?? We are now banned whatever this means.. don’t think I ever been so humiliated, angry over the unfairness of all of this to be called a nuisance and breaking someone else’s possessions and most of all, to be accused of going on holidays for 3 nights to visit family with a screw driver, to take off a cover of a plug.

The view was absolutely amazing, the apartment is in a great location. Short walk into the centre of town, lovely and quiet. The apartment was very spacious, the furnishings were very comfortable. Having a glorious sea view from the kitchen sink made washing up (almost) a joy. Did I mention the fabulous view and great location?

Free parking is advertised. In reality it is in the street a 5 minute walk away. The access to the bathroom from both bedrooms really requires some locks. Also the door into the main bedroom gets caught up in the curtain. The rubber flooring on the front balcony retains water, so remains wet to walk on hours after the rain has stopped.
