No6a Luxe design appartement in historisch hart Dordrecht ALLES dichtbij!

Lokatie is perfect, in het centrum en toch rustig. De zeer ruime woonruimte is fantastisch. heel gezellig om samen na een dag door Dordrecht banjeren op de bank te hangen, nog wat TV te kijken met een kopje thee. Het voelde als heel snel als thuis. De gastvrouw is heel behulpzaam en reageert prompt op vragen. En we mochten eerder naar binnen en later weg. Topper!

Location and living space were really good. Lovely advice from the host. Very comfortable sofa bed.

The weather wasn’t great when we stayed so maybe we had more time to observe the flat than other visitors…. Although I can now see that Booking.com doesn’t let us read all reviews and only gives edited quotes… The description uses the word “luxe” and this sets high expectations and maybe after a few years of operating this is difficult to meet. In my opinion a luxury property should provide/include towels and this doesn’t. We noticed in emails before we left home but I can’t remember that being clear at the time of booking. Some of the sheets were very old/bobbled and one of the pillows was smelly - these need replacing and ideally with plain white sheets and mattress/pillow protectors included/laundered. The “intimate” twin room wouldn’t be considered habitable space in the UK as there’s only about 1m squared where the ceiling height exceeds 2.1m. Although there’s a photo it doesn’t really explain how tight this room is for space - it was very difficult for our party with a 1.8m teen. There’s an open drop to the two staircases which makes it difficult for very young children even though there are facilities provided to encourage young families. The balcony wasn’t usable as there are no seats and there was builder’s rubble/old roof tiles on the floor. The flat was very clean for the most part, but might benefit from a deep clean to eliminate dusty corners. I’m really sorry to leave these comments as we enjoyed many aspects of our stay but addressing these items would have made it even better.

Fantastic base to explore the beautiful city of Dordrecht and countryside beyond. The host provided great recommendations of where to visit and local restaurants/shops etc. The apartment located right in the historic centre of the city is pristine and beautifully styled.
