Seaside Rentals

This is a stunning home right on the water. There’s so much deck space and the most incredible views. It’s nicely decorated and stocked with all that you need for a comfortable stay. You have total privacy (we rented both suites.) There are so many beautiful places to sit and relax. It’s breathtaking.

The stairs to the beach are very steep and narrow. There’s lots of rusty metal and rebar around. The stairs inside both suites are extremely squeaky and loud!

Great location right on the ocean with nice view towards the horizon. If you want to hike, the path starts right across the road.

You have to consider that your travel to town is limited to public buses or car. On weekends the buses run quite seldom and you need a taxi to get to the airport in the morning.

Poor parking facilities for our veterans cars

The location is phenomenal, a little bit of paradise on earth. Imagine being on a boat, with the sea and its sound surrounding you, but with all the comfort of a house.

There is nothing not to like.

Beautiful location for a group of friends

House was very clean, but just around the house there was a lot of scrap metal and loose tools.

Magnificent views of the fjord from the huge deck and comfortable sitting room. Good communication from the owner and helpful service and advice. we’ll equipped kitchen would further benefit from having a microwave. excellent WiFi connectivity despite reports to the contrary from others

It’s a little difficult to reach by public transport, requiring a local bus or taxi. As others have mentioned and the site advises, the steep steps to the property can be a challenge, so just something to be aware of and prepared for - it’s worth it for the lovely seaside location.

Cottage and terrace are very nice. I just think the septic tank was a little full when we arrived, because it smelled like urine.

Again the accommodation and view is fine, but I think one should be honest with the pictures. Because what you do not see is that around the terrace/house is really a mess (which will not be visible in winter due to snow). Also absolutely not very safe for children; we were with young children. Beer cans, glass, loose power lines, trash everywhere, holes in the terrace, stairs broken and the parking lot where you can hardly park 1 car is very unsafe. If the owners would do something about this you would have a wonderful place. Furthermore, the house could be a bit cleaner; cooking utensils were quite dirty.
