Overall rating for this accommodation is difficult as there many pros and cons -pros.....Stunning location and spectacular view with a very nice well equipped suite

Cons- if you have tours and attractions arranged, especially prearranged, at Svolvaer the drive would be +/- 2hours so any events should be done at nearby Reine......and this should be made clear to any prospective renter. Access is another Issue, as the entry code must be entered on difficult antiquated tumblers- twice- once at the outside entry and then again in the dark, at the top of a very dangerous steep stair with an inadequate handrail and tiny landing at the top. As an architect I can say that this would not be according to the current Norwegian building code and with children and the elderly could be subject to the likelihood of legal action in the case of injury. I would strongly suggest this be dealt with ASAP. This could be resolved by locating the entry door, landing and possibly a couple of initial steps at the end of the hall and then run the stairs along the back wall. Inclusion of a winder may be required to redirect the staircase in order to achieve headroom may be necessary...anyways I'll the challenge to a local architect.
