Tosswill Road - Bay Vista

Great deck with wonderful views of the bay. Wonderful shower.

The bedroom and bathroom where so dark you could hardly find anything. The lighting system was too complex. The kitchen would suffice for reheating leftovers but you could not cook a meal. The sink was too small to fit a plate to wash. It needed more plates and silverware to make the dishwasher an option. The blanket was too heavy and warm for summer. Black switch plates on a black wall in a dark room made them difficult to find.

The views, the different spaces to enjoy, beautiful interior decoration, the spa pool is a lovely touch.

The lighting was quite confusing and needing an app to control it was unexpected! The kitchen was lovely but lacking a few basic things which would be really great in a kitchen ie scissors or small milk, butter or tea/coffee. Not a major!

Nice view. Nice beds, liked the kitchen! Hot tub made it an extra bonus. Would highly recommend.

Only one bath room. Which is more challenging if you have a big family and need to get out of the house on time

We actually didn't like anything at this property...we LOVED it. What views, what a gorgeous home!

Didn't like that we had to leave!

The property was tastefully renovated and decorated.

The heater was fussy and would turn on very slowly and turn itself off repeatedly and though there were instructions for everything else, there were none for heating and air conditioning unit. No written instructions would have been fine except that the owner ghosted us. On the 3rd day of 4 night stay, at my request firewood for the stove was delivered. I would add that in the house it was 17 and 18 degrees Celsius (62 and 64 F) for our first two mornings which is cold for us. And the firewood bins were bare I presume because previous occupants had used every last bit of it. Had it not been for this, I would have rated it better. But being cold is not something we expect to encounter. We travel a lot and in this case we were in New Zealand 35 days. This was the only stay where we we encountered a problematic heater. And it was the only place where we had a non responsive owner.
