The location is beautiful.

Booking this little gem at the last minute, and not knowing the area, we weren’t sure what to expect. Beautiful scenic drive to this private little piece of property close to Mapua. We arrived after 4pm and lovely hosts Maureen and Bernie met us at the property and handed over the keys. They were welcoming and friendly and couldn’t be more helpful with where to go and what to do. We did a day cruise out of Kaiteriteri the next day and decided to stay a second night. They made this very easy. Very private and quiet. Netflix was a bonus after a big day.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Need a few more window and door blinds where they're missing to block out early morning light if you're a light sleeper.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous garden, great helpful hosts, loved the furnishings & attention to detail.

Location may be off the beaten track but, it is central to everything. Maybe 15-20 minutes from city, country or food options. A lovely rural drive to get to all those facilities. You then have the benefit of a lovely self contained unit on a rural property with plenty of peace, quiet and fresh air. The hosts are friendly and gave us plenty of privacy . Pretty much the perfect holiday location in a beautiful part of the world, superb!

The hosts were nice. The apartment was in a pleasant setting with beautiful gardens. Everything was clean. The free WiFi worked fine.

It did not feel very private. There was a glass door and one or two windows that had no curtains or blinds, and on the other side of them is the host's property. This also means that it's impossible to stop light getting in if you want to sleep in in the morning. It was smaller than expected. It was advertised as 60m2 and it is smaller than that. The apartment was advertised with a sea view, which there was not. Possibly the trees have grown taller since that was written and obscured it.

Location was fantastic, nice and quiet with a great view.

We particularly enjoyed the location and the opportunity to walk over the farm and see the amazing view out towards the ocean. Our hosts were very friendly and informative about the area and also generous in sharing the delicious feijoas and mandarins in their lovely garden. The unit was large and well placed in relation to the main house to ensure privacy.
