There was no breakfast

No toilet paper and the host lied to me.I arrived to a pile of rubble on the sidewalk and a half our wait. The guy checking me in pressed me for a tour, to stay more days and disappeared for the rest of the day. I decided I would stay more days and got groceries but later that evening the host returned and told me the place was booked tomorrow but he had another place two blocks over. The next day he offered to drive to this other place and did. It was seven blocks or so up the hill. I asked him to stop and let him know this is no good. ECT ECT. It was a half hour walk back into town with my bags and groceries. The place he took me to was Alimiento Expedition. I was fine with all the deficiencies until he lied to me.

Beds and pillows were comfy. You can organize hikes with them.

Far from center, on top of the hill (Good for getting ready for the nearby hikes). Ran out of warm water quickly. There's only one bathroom for 2 rooms of people. The free breakfast is just bread with jam.

An unassuming, if a bit hard to spot, building welcomes you with a spot on clean apartment equipped with warm showers, fast WiFi and clean kitchen... If other guests are decent enough to do their dishes that is. The owners were very kind, letting me leave my stuff as I went hiking. A week later it was still there;)

The location is almost in the outskirts of the town, a 20min walk ending with an uphill straight will prepare you for the hikes;)

Look no further! First of all, you will not find a hostel for this price in town! Also, the hostel is clean and nice! It has a warm shower and a strong wifi. The beds are also nice and comfy. What more can I ask for?

The location! It was a bit far out of town (15-20 minutes walk to the center), but I didn’t mind it much because it helped acclimate me for the hikes lol
