The location was great. It was just off an expressway. In many ways, the apartments were great: beds, kitchen, bathrooms, washer, fridge, etc. The apartments were clean which is, of course, paramount. However...

It appeared that the host hadn't prepared for us. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There were not enough towels for our family even though we had specified the number of people coming. The one apartment had not toilet paper, and the second one had only barely enough. The beds were comfortable, but the blankets were far too small; they didn't even cover the top surface area of the bed. There were not many dishes in the cupboards. It was hardly enough for us to bring our own food and make breakfast.
