Bright and cozy apartment 1.5km from city centre

Very homely and fresh. A bit away from the centre so much more privacy.

While it was good being out of the busy centre the walk with backpacks for when arriving and departing was a tad long. Public transport is minimal.

It is near the train station, one stop before Flåm. Away from the tourist town that is more authentic and quiet.

The table and the chairs at the patio are covered with a layer of dust. Needed to do the cleaning myself. No curtain on the main window, lack of privacy. Toilet is inside the bedroom. Towels are rough, time to replace the towels. I was told on the checkin day that the stove wasn’t working. Heater also isn’t working. Luckily it wasn’t very cold. Roof window can’t be covered, curtain not working. Luckily I have an eye mask.

Cute little apartment with everything we needed. Stunning location. Easy walk up to Flam church and then down into Flam harbour area. We got off the Flam railway at Lunden and the apartment was an easy 3min walk from there. The next day walking with wheeled luggage down to catch the ferry was an easy half hour with wonderful scenery.

The oven switched itself off before our pizza was properly cooked. Cleaner the next day said that happens a bit and oven circuit needs to be reset.

Absolutely lovely.

Sheets and pillows had an odor of mildew.

The apartment is on second floor of the building, the entrance is not easy to find. The ground floor is occupied by another family, who ask us to leave. Called the host as we failed to find the entrance when arrive but no one answer.
