my second bed had no sheet! i informed the hosts but they did NOTHING! We slept all nights without a sheet!

Apartment even has a sauna on balcony. And when you sit in sauna, you have amazing view to mountains. Everything was good.

Convenient location, near the center, around many restaurants, there are several grocery stores. The apartments were cozy, tidy, the internet worked well. Closed yard, the car could be kept in the garage. Smooth and pleasant communication with the apartment manager. The most pleasant surprise was the sauna on the balcony. After the rainy and rather cool weather in the mountains, it was very good to warm up and relax.

The only drawback, which was somewhat disturbing at the beginning, was the kitchen. When we arrived at the apartment, the dishwasher was still running, the table mats were dirty. The lamp shade, which hung low enough, was very dusty. But the kitchen was the only place that maybe didn't have enough time to do it properly. But everything else was really clean and tidy.

We were able to check-in early. There was convenient and cheap public transportation to the city center so we didn't have to find parking there. The garage under the house was convenient. Several small shops and cafes were nearby. Hosts sent messages to us translated to Latvian, which was a nice touch. This is an ok apartment, if you aren't traveling with kids.

While booking, I looked at the overall pictures and not the specific "Starter Apartment" (my fault). It turned out that for this specific apartment the design is different, and there were 2 sets of stairs. We were traveling with 2 kids (aged 1 and 3) and it was dangerous for them to be near the stairs, as there were no protection against falling. Also, the washing machine door was broken, the bathroom ventilation didn't work, the high-chairs weren't available for this apartment and the mountain view could be seen only through a tiny window on the 3rd floor of the apartment where you can't stand comfortably to see it. I couldn't find clothes drying rack for a full load of laundry (there was a small electric one which fit just a few clothes). And the balcony had several wires and clutter (no table or chair), so we couldn't use it. The "large" double bed was probably narrower than 160 cm, as we couldn't sleep with our 1-year-old between us. Sleeping for me together with 2 children on the sofa was as comfortable as it sounds. Luckily, we were only 4 people and didn't have to use the beds on the 3rd floor, as the room got quite heated during the morning and day in summer. Overall, the biggest issue for us were the stairs. We tried to ask the host and Booking.com to change the apartment to something without stairs, but there weren't any other free apartments.
