The balcony had a nice mountain view.

The apartment looked worn out and wasn't cleaned properly. By saying this i don't have in mind some missed dust on the shelf. There were plenty of dead mosquitos on the floor (one was crushed on the wall), the sofa had stains from spilled drinks or whatever, the kitchen table had crumbs so I assume it was not vacuum cleaned, the cherry on top was a pooped toilet - not something you usually expect to see on your arrival to a rented property. I want to point out that we are not some spoiled rich people that want everything to be perfect, it is completely fine if the apartment is not new but when you celebrate your anniversary and find an uncleaned apartment with a pooped toilet the first thing you want to do is leave and look for clean romantic experience somewhere else what we actually did.

We travelled from Krakow with 3 cars, 3 families, 6 adults, 3 children aged 2-4, 2 small dogs. We booked 3 rooms for 8 days. Everything was fine. The owners were very kind. The fence around the property made it safe to walk the dogs around the building, as we didn't have to worry about local dogs attacking them. The kids were happy with the beautiful view and the place was not too far from the ski slopes and the restaurants they liked. We stay in Zakopane almost every year, in different hotels, but this one was special because it had a very large bathroom, making it easy for the kids to shower.

A pillow that is too soft in the bedroom may not be to your liking for someone who chooses a different pillow.
