Prestigious Main Square Apartment

The property was in a good location 1 minute walk from the main square although extremely difficult to find, with little help from the owner who wasnt there to meet us as stated when booking. We asked local shop owners who tried to help. It was a decent size,well laid out, although smaller than pictures advertise. safe behind locked outer doors.

It could do with a little TLC as the bathroom had mould on the walls and the sink tap was broken. The electric tripped while we were there, and when the owner was called, the response was less than helpful (told not to use more than one appliance), and we were told to basically sort it ourselves.

Had to find contact for owner on arrival, didnt know how to check in. no info sent. no eletricity. bathroom needed a refurb and clean.

The location of the apartment was excellent, very close to the main square, bars and restaurants. The apartment was compact but spacious enough for our stay and contained everything we needed. Alex and his brother were very helpful. I would recommend this apartment and I will stay here again.

Unclean- cough has various stains all over it, dust and cobwebs on window ledges Unkempt- mould on ceiling above shower, sockets hanging out of walls which is dangerous

There was no signage outside, had to ask local shopkeepers which property it was … and they weren’t quite sure ?

The location was great, just a minute walk from Market Square and close to restaurants, bars and shops. trams were only abot 10 minutes walk and the train station about 15 minutes.

We arrived at 10.45 pm and had been told we would be met at the property but there was no-one there. Eventually we were able to speak to the landlord by phone. He had to talk us through two door codes and a lockbox before we could get in, it was 11pm and quite stressful, especially as one of the door codes didn't work to begin with. He then told us that the wi-fi and TV weren't working but they should be fixed soon. They both remained out of order for our full stay - we asked him for a discount as these had clearly been included in the price we paid but he didn't agree - he suggested it wasn't his fault. It certainly wasn't ours! The apartment next door was being renovated so it was very noisy during the day. We were out for most of it but were woken to loud music which was still playing after 6pm. We told the landlord who said he would speak to the neighbours but we left the next day - hopefully this was sorted out for the next guests.

Very convenient location, right in a city centre, good communication with the host, clean and tidy.

The apartment really needs some TLC. It must have been really nice one good few years back. There is no ventilation in a bathroom, which caused a massive mouldy patch over the shower. Not all lights are in working condition, this makes the place a bit too dark in the evening. There are no hooks to hang towels or clothes in the bathroom, which makes changing your clothes a difficult task as there is not much space in there in first place. I will not come back
