Apartment Bernardynska

Location. Easy to navigate access. Big enough for a family ie 2 separate bedrooms. Had basics needed such as crockery and cutlery, bedding, towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid and tea bags. People we met in the apartment block were friendly. View of the castle from the front bedroom. Rooms looked like the photos other than the extras such as flowers etc. The apartment is warm.

Dirty mattresses, stained. Single duvets for double bed. Noisy neighbours including arguing from an apartment above us at 2.30 in the morning. No radio or tv although in all honesty, it didn't state there was on the listing. Stated view from balcony however, it was an overgrown garden with a broken down building with a giant hole in the ceiling.

This apartment was huge! The kitchen, bedrooms and loft area were wonderful everyone had their own space. There was also an outdoor area. The location was amazing. Right next to the Wavel castle and drag statue & river. So close to the “Stary Rynek” but quiet enough to allow rest.

I didn’t “enjoy” waking up the stairs but I didn’t hate it either. It was part of the charm, the old Krakow apartment with its high ceilings & wooden floors. The bathroom was tiny but honestly not at all a deal breaker, just part of the “old world” charm.

Easy to go (good directions), very close to the city centre, very clean and warm.

Some furniture was a bit old and some doors were not closing properly (bathroom).

The apartment was really close to Wawel Castle, the dragon with fire was around the corner of the street. A few minutes' walk from the main square. The apartment had everything needed for a stay, it is clean and big enough. We parked right in front of the apartment on the street.
