it was beautiful, well equipped. the host was incredibly nice

there is a washing machine there, so maybe i would add a laundry dryer. there was also almost no countertop space so it was not that easy to cook.

We were met by Christina and Frascina, who are really lovely as they went through the unit with us. Even provided us with Pastel De Nata was a welcome treat which was very kind of them. When we stepped in, first thing we noticed was how clean it was. Also the apartment was wonderfully appointed. You can tell that the owners exude class by the furnishings and fittings that are used in the apartment. They have marble/onyx counter tops and all appliances like the fridge and washer/dryer are hidden to obtain flush and clean lines in the kitchen unit. They even have a proper dish drying rack and trays for scrubbing pad/dish wash solution. Small things that you will miss when they are absent. Even found a nice foldable mat which you can take to the part for a nice picnic. Despite some comments that the mattress was hard, I found it to be nice and firm and perfect for me. Apartment is located 5 mins from LAPA metro and there is the E line which goes to the airport directly too. As we are a family of 3, we decided to take UBER instead (Euro 11) since it cost almost Euro 6 for train and we had 4 large suitcases. Overall, this is a very nice apartment for the 5 nights we stayed in Porto.

Unfortunately, the washer/dryer door was damaged and could not take out the wash, but fortunately Christina had managed to get my clothes out when she called the technician the next day. Thankfully I was not flying out the next morning. Also as the apartment is along the main street, it can get a bit noisy if you leave your doors open. Thankfully our family are so tired after visiting the beautiful city, that it didn't really bother us too much. Also can get a bit chilly as there is no heater provided.

The location is fantastic, 20 minutes walking from the Ribeira, although it is a little bit steepy. The apartment is very comfortable, and the mattress are fantastic. The bathroom is small, and the water from the shower can sometimes splash outside, but it was not a problem for us.

There is no lift in the building. Although it is on the first floor, we had 7 big luggage (we are coming from a 1 year trip in England), and we took a while to go up and down. The rest is fantastic!
