Perfect location, quiet area. Close to restaurants, supermarkets, shops,cable car, the harbour. Buses, taxis.. In fact everything you need.

Very nice apartment with good facilities near to old town and cable cars, only one floor up and accessible by lift. Duarte was there to greet us and talked to our taxi driver when he couldn't find the place. Separate utility room with washing machine and drying frame. Plenty of literature about Madeira. Nice balcony

Couple of things need fixing, slight leak from shower, a light switch, loose drawer front in TV unit. More hooks to hang coats/t-towels would be good, as would more cutlery, more t-towels, more towels. Some people would find the frequent soccer matches played at the pitch behind apartment disturbing, but we didn't mind, the cheering was never boisterous.

We loved this spacious apartment with a balcony. It is walking distance to some many great restaurants and driving distance to any hike or sightsee that you’d like to do. We enjoyed making this our home base as we explored the island.

Be careful bringing in food or sweet treats as we had some sugar ants. They were never a nuisance though.

Location is great near the old town and Anadia Shopping Center. Also a short walk to sea side. Balcony to sun and elevator to apartment. Everything you could need for cooking. Friendly host Duarte 😊

Some renovation of the floor and in the bathroom may be needed in the future.

The location is great, the flat is clean and spacious, the balcony is big, and Mel is very helpful :) I fully recommend

Good size apartment, plenty of room for 2 people. Nice size kitchen with everything you would need. Fabulous location, very quiet, near the supermarkets, restaurants, cable car. Wonderful hosts abd and are available if they are needed.

We thought the apartment was clean, well equipped and had a great central location for the old town. Duarte was very welcoming and we appreciated the complimentary wine and cake.

We had read the reviews regarding the football training every night and indeed we enjoyed watching the kids play. However, we did not enjoy being woken at 8.15am on Saturday AND Sunday by a DJ who played excessively loud techno music throughout the weekend for the duration of the football tournament. This was accompanied by constant horn blowing by the fans for around 12 hours each day. Our hearts sank every time there was a goal as the DJ celebratory music intensified. We stayed for a fortnight and this only occurred on one of the weekends. Furthermore, communication with the hosts could have been a lot better. We had to wait for a considerable time for responses to our questions. We appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment beyond our check out time due to a late flight however this was only confirmed 10 minutes before we were due to check out. We had asked the day before our departure if this was possible.

Clean, bright, well equipped, spacious apartment. Great location for the Old Town. Free parking space. Friendly host shared excellent restaurant recommendations
