Castle, Terrace and Relax

The property had everything we needed in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. We loved the two balconies and the wonderful light in the apartment. We had a great view of the city and even part of the castle. It was very well situated to walk to the castle, the river, the train/bus station and explore the historic Center.

Clean updated apartment, with an equipped kitchen in the heart of the old part of Tomar. Comfortable large bed. Restaurants and cafes literally just steps away.

Great location but it is not pet friendly at all. The host literally told me it wasn’t good for her to rent to me because I have a larger service dog. She was very passive aggressive and ruined the entire stay, making me feel unwelcome.

The housekeeper dumped a bunch of dirty water on the deck and there was no hot water when I arrived. When I mentioned this to the host she said it wasn’t good for me to rent there anyways as I had a medium dog and she only wanted little dogs. My dog is a service dog and is registered so her discrimination was uncalled for and very unprofessional. Also it is up three flights of stairs and the stairs are always wet (this was winter) and I and my service dogs almost slid and fell a couple times. Much nicer places around and far more friendly hosts also.

Great location. Parking nearby. Apartment was clean and comfortable.

Perhaps more detail in how to obtain the parking discount. We did not observe that we had to bring the ticket immediately to the attendant upon entry to the garage to get the discount for the day.

Fabulous location. Perfect apartment for a few days in Tomar. The roof terrace provides a lovely place to enjoy the lovely weather and view. Well equipped, modern and very comfortable. Easy walk from the station. Close to restaurants and in historic centre.

Location was good--walkable. Great view of the castle from the lovely terrace. Small apartment with almost everything one would need for a short trip. Bed was pretty comfortable. We'd definitely stay at Castle, Terrace and Relax again.

The coffee maker was a disappointment as it's broken; it needs to be replaced. Coffee nearby, but I love to have a cup while in pajamas--instead of going outside into the world first thing in the morning. Nothing else comes to mind that wasn't adequate.
