This is quite a big apartment. Has 3 bedrooms, a livingroom, small kitchen, and a normal size bathroom. Quite comfortable and clean. It's right in front of a small supermarket which is super convenient. Also, all the people are absolutely fantastic - the host was very communicative, the person at the door who handed over the key - very lovely, and the supermarket owner (as well as the other village people) - extremely friendly and kind. The village is small but very cozy and authnetic with a lovely and a calm view.

Overall, it was fairly calm and quiet, although you can hear the cars passing by, as the sound isolation is not very strong, and the church bells are loud early on. But more FYI, in case this is an issue for anyone. The village doesn't have much, so best bet is to go to the next town, like 10mins driving S Joao de Pesqueira that has more things (e.g. cafe, breakfast, etc.)

The place is near the road and can be really noisy.

We needed a central location to wonder around, so this place meet our expectations. We have the douro 5 min car to chill in the hot days, and we had a train station close as well. The apartment is decorated with a lot of beautiful details...for my taste....is decently a plus. Someone takes care of this little things!

I don't recall having troubles with anything. The center of the town (the main cafe) is close so can hear people walking and talking, but it was not a problem since is soooo small you want to hear people around!Excellent stay!
