Port Wine Flats

Self check in was efficient, the apartment was spotlessly clean and coffee/tea/fresh fruit were provided. The kitchen was extremely well equipped should you wish to self-cater, with a great coffee machine. The location is right next to the cultural centre with loads of bars, cafes and restaurants. We'd chose to stay here again when visiting Porto.

Excellent location

The bed is literally in a closet. "Bedroom" has no windows, hence no fresh air and a bit of a smell. Also, parking was not easy to find.

For a family of 3 we loved this flat. It has 2aircon which is great in the summer. Beds were comfy. Kitchen and untensils are provided. Good water pressure. This flat is Gaia, and we’re so happy we didn’t opted to stay in Porto, because everything we wanted is in Gaia. 2min walk from the flat brings you to the cable car and all the nice restaurants in the area. It’s a self checkin so we didn’t get to meet Paulo.But he’s been answering all of our questions about the hotel and pretty much about where to park and restos. He’s been so helpful. We miss crossing the beautiful bridge Pont San Luis from our flat to Porto and just hanging out by the river every evening. If ever I’ll be back in Porto, I’ll choose to visit the flat again.

minor only: but not the property owner’s fault. We parked close to the flat on Monday-Friday and on Saturday Police started putting clamps on the car, luckily my husband saw it on time and moved our car on a paid parking. Perhaps this is something people should consider if they are coming by car

Modern and nice apartment. Equipped kitchen with nice kitchenware. Few minutes from the riverside, WOW cultural space, wine cellars.

We stayed on the first floor and there was no view, only on the roof of the neighboring building. The parking is a headache - expensive (could be 70€ per night) and you have to find a place. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Great location. Comfortable beds

Small for a family of 4. Didn’t have any shower gel/soap or shampoo all other locations we stayed at have those so we didn’t bring with us. Would have liked to know to bring our own.

The location was good. It was an easy walk into Porto. The proximity to the waterfront was excellent. The place is very close to the gondola which offers an excellent view of Porto when you take the ride to the top. As well, we had a plumbing issue that the landlord was able to fix the next day.

The photos in the search engine did not accurately show how the apartment presented itself. The brochure photos of the waterfront, etc, made it seem as if the view could be seen from this apartment. But in reality, there is no view. The only nearby place that sells groceries has a very small selection of items, and it's more expensive than it should be. The local restaurants along the waterfront are overpriced and the food is not that great. I'd recommend walking into Porto instead. There are many places you can find that give much better value and quality for the money.

I loved staying here! The location is awesome—it's on the other side of Porto, so every morning you get to cross that beautiful bridge. In the evenings, you have a great view of the city all lit up, perfect for enjoying a drink. There are plenty of spots nearby to taste some amazing Port wine. The area is super quiet and safe, and finding a parking spot is really easy. Check-in and check-out were a breeze with clear instructions sent ahead of time. Having a washer and dryer was super convenient. The rooms are comfy, the shower is great, and there's a big kitchen with a dining area that's perfect for cooking your own meals—it's got everything you need. Paulo was an awesome host, always quick to reply to any questions I had.
