-We liked Everything -It was a bit cold in March but the air con and fireplace kept us warm. -Karan looked after us and the communication with the owner was very early and stress free. -Fully equipped kitchen, had everything we needed, loved the dishwasher. -underfloor heating in the bathroom was amazing!

-the country road from the main road to the property is a bit bumpy, not the property’s fault but hopefully the council can fix the road as we would like to return here 😊 -we’ve only used the hot tub a couple of times due to the rain, we would suggest maybe an umbrella over the hot tub for low season as the weather temperature was warm but due to the rain we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub as much as we wanted.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this picturesque guest house, and it was truly a delightful experience. Located just a few miles outside of Lagos, it offers a tranquil retreat with stunning views from the back deck, overlooking the beautiful valley and neighboring towns. The property is gated, providing a sense of privacy and security. The main house and guest house are well-maintained, and while the furnishings include basic amenities, they perfectly complement the serene atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitable and attentive host. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delicious four-course dinner with a bottle of wine of our choice for an additional charge, which was a lovely way to start our visit. The next morning, we enjoyed a generous spread for breakfast (for an additional fee also), ensuring we were well-fueled for a day of sightseeing. The location is ideal for exploring Lagos and its surroundings, with easy access to various attractions. However, it’s worth noting that, depending on the season, there can be a few pesky mosquitoes, so be sure to use the repellent the host provdes. Also no shower curtain can create some splashes and lack of privacy. One solution regarding privacy is to use the other bedroom (this is a two-bedroom guesthouse) if more than a couples stay there. Overall, this guest house provides a wonderful blend of tranquility, beautiful scenery, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Location and views are great. Pretty house and style inside the house.

Watering system’s stream outside in the garden goes straight to the house and windows during the night and creates very loud sound, it was hard to sleep first night. After asking I believe they did not run it for long so at least it lasted only seconds. Loads of mosquitos inside the house! We kept windows and doors shut during the night so it was not possible that this huge amount of them would enter. Not sure how they enter or just live there…Anyway, it was impossible to sleep! And lastly, at first we thought these bites on out bodies are from the mosquitos but every night it was more and more of them. After googling we realized it’s bed bugs!!! It is all over our arms, legs and face! I have photos to prove. Hard/nearly impossible to lock the doors. A guys showed us how to but even he was struggling with them. We had to walk through the back door… so house was technically never locked.

Breakfast was great! The owner and her staff were very kind and attentive!

It's a bit difficult to find. My GPS sent me up through a construction site. It got me close to the place but then I realized I needed to approach it from the other side.

The view, the hot tub, the patio and the piece and quiet. Manjula was so helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast that we arranged with the owner for our first morning was lovely.

The signage to get to the property needs improving. Found the turning ok off the main road but when you get to where there are 3 turnings need a sign to say which one to take. Didn’t like the drive up and down

We liked everything, this is the best place we have ever stayed! What we loved: The view is amazing at any moment of the day. Sunsets even more. The fireplace makes this place very special. It is beautiful, keeps you warm at night as well. We were here in February and we even had a day of rain, but we loved being inside with the fireplace - it felt like a mountain cottage holiday for a day! We got a lot of wood from the owners and the fire was easy to make and maintain. The staff was very kind. Manjula was always responsive and thought of what we may need. Also, his smile and attitude were super nice. We also loved the supercute dog that came around to say hi! And of course the hottub. We enjoyed it only once during the stay due to the weather, but when we did it, we enjoyed it a lot. There is everything you can wish for in the cottage, dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer, huge TVs...So easy to stay there.

Hard to think of anything, but it would have been great to have a washing machine. We did our laundry in town, so it was not a huge problem.
