De n'avoir que le nom de la rue mais pas le numéro civique. Le taxi n'a pu nous descendre à la porte. Il a fallu chercher et marcher avec nos bagages 🥴 Le pommeau de douche qu' on ne pouvait laisser en place et l'eau chaude difficile à avoir.

Place is exactly as described, comfortable and spacious. Nice balcony with morning sun. We were there during carnival, and yes, it was loud with all the parades and such as some people noted here,but even then the noise stopped at about midnight to 1. The second bedroom by the way is super quiet all evening. Garage in the building was also a great plus. The apartment is located in a bigger apartment building, so make sure to be there at the agreed time to meet Tatiana in front of the building. Tatiana was very helpful and responsive, a little problem which we had with the drainage was solved the same day.

the noise has been really intense, they warn before the booking about it, but still it exceeded expectations of it. also found some items from the previous tenants

The location was excellent, apartment had great facilities. The host was lovely!

The only thing was it was a bit dark at night time getting in & out of the property. There were lights but you had to press them on.

Check in was very easy as we were met by Carla, who was very helpful and friendly. She guided us to the carpark, which would have been very difficult to find without her help. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen, though small, was particularly well provided for and any utensil we could have wished for was available. The hob, oven and microwave were all in perfect working order and were spotlessly clean. There was even some oils, vinegar and seasoning in the press which is very useful when you are only staying for a short while. The apartment was spacious and the balcony was an added bonus. We sat there most evenings, and though we could just about see the sea, it was most pleasant to be able to do so. The location in the Old Town is excellent and it is very close to many good restaurants and the marina. While there are some small grocery stores nearby, the Pingo Dolce supermarket in the basement of the Anadia Shopping Centre is not far away and has a huge range of products at very good prices. The cable car to Monte Palace and tropical gardens is very close and this is well worth doing. The views are amazing and the gardens are most interesting to explore. Wear good footwear though, as it is quite steep in places.

We visited in September so it wasn't overly hot. There is no air conditioning so this may be a an issue in the summer. There are fans in both bedrooms which worked well but, in the absence of air conditioning, a fan in the living area would be helpful. It was close to a busy karaoke bar and so there tended to be a lot of noise until about 1am. After that it settled down and was peaceful for the rest of the night.

It's a big, beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. It has a good size balcony with a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you need. The location is amazing, parking is a huge bonus.

The town is noisy, and we definitely should have brought earplugs. The shower has difficulty regulating temperature, and they expect you to buy toilet paper.

Very beautiful apartment close to the beach, street with restaurants, supermarket and market. I was impressed as apartment looks like on photos, a lot of space, very clean, good aircondition. Kitchen all equipped, apartment had all that we required. Super balcony with good view on the red roofs and sea. When I will be back to Funchal it will be definatly this apartment again. Communication with host was very pleasant. I really recommend to stay there.
