I specifically booked this place for the pool and for the private parking. No parking was available during my stay so before coming to the place I drove around to find a place where I could eventually park...The other side of the neighborhood is not at all suitable for children (5 and 10), I am sorry. Drug addicts is not really the kind of people I was expecting to encounter during the day, so let alone during the night. As a result, I booked somewhere else to feel comfortable walking around in the neighborhood

Nice and fairly modern building and apartment in a good geographical location.

Avoid if you have pets. Although they claim to be pet-friendly, we encountered issues despite informing them multiple times about our small dog – during the booking process, after booking, and again when submitting visitor details before our stay. Apparently, informing them through Booking.com was not sufficient – as they referred to details on the “main booking page” (whatever that means). While we were out, we received a message saying that housekeeping had “found a dog” in our apartment. They demanded a pet fee (which we of course paid immediately) – and also requested credit card details for a security deposit. Since we were in Cascais at the time, I explained that I’d provide the card details once we returned. They replied that this was unacceptable – and threatened to revoke our access to the apartment – where our dog was – unless we submitted the card details within the hour. This threat made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We managed to send the card info to avoid being locked out. However, when we returned, we found our dog shut in a bedroom – without air conditioning and no access to his water bowl, which was in the living room. :( Don’t be misled by the “swimming pool.” It’s only 80 cm deep and very small – impossible to actually swim in. Upon arrival, the pool had just 40 cm of dirty water. The next day, it was “under maintenance.” There were no usable sun loungers – just three broken ones lying around. The apartment had a washing machine – but no place to hang or dry clothes, making laundry very inconvenient. The kitchen was poorly equipped – lacking a toaster and microwave, even though both were listed in the advertisement. The surrounding neighborhood felt dirty and somewhat unsafe. Many people appeared to be under the influence – and we were approached with drug offers. The streets nearby were unclean – with visible trash, vomit, human feces, and urine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place – especially for a longer stay.
