the location is absolutely perfect! everything is within walking distance and the bar across the street is amazing.

the stairs are insane and extremely dangerous! the walls are thin. you can hear everything all around you! There is a small closet diagonal from front of the front door, which has an extremely harsh and overwhelming smell that smacks you in the face every time you come and go. Although the property states “no pets” at all allowed, there were several dogs who barked all hours of the night and day!

The location was absolutely perfect, surrounded by charming shops, cozy bars, and the warmest, most welcoming community — it’s what truly made the studio stay worthwhile.

The studio was a challenge from the start — at least five flights of stairs with three bags and an 8-year-old made it a complete nightmare. The terrace, although a nice idea, was underwhelming with dying plants and cheap, unclean furniture. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell of poop, likely from a water closet near the front door. I wouldn’t recommend this studio to anyone with mobility issues, those in a wheelchair, or anyone traveling with heavy luggage. The noise from a loud dog in the unit above me — despite a no-dog policy — added to the frustration. The owners left the puppy alone all day and evening, resulting in sleepless nights, but I was given no compensation for the inconvenience.

Good location with large room

We were exceptionally disappointed at the lack of customer service and empathy provided by the off site agent for this property This rental was off the rails from our arrival until departure 4 days later. To find that our "LOFT" apartment was down 3 flights of dangerously narrow stairs and no elevator and also the difficulty we had in finding a suitable way to pay the taxes claimed • The room is not a loft and is 3 floors below entry level. • The stairs are dangerously narrow and there is no elevator. • There is no A/C so no heating or cooling  •There is no toaster as listed • There is no clothes rack as listed • There are no toiletries as listed • With no clothes rack or heater it is impossible to dry the wet towels and requests for dry towels were rejected until late on the last afternoon. This is an issue of hygiene and is unacceptable.  This problem is exacerbated by the room being in a basement, not a loft as described. • There was no tea towel in the room, even though the remote staff incorrectly claim there was one and one wasn't supplied until the third afternoon. • The kitchen screen blind does not work so we were told just not to use it! • The electrical system for the apartment is significantly sub standard as the circuit breaker was tripped by turning on the cooktop when the only other electrical items in use were some lights and the minute bathroom fan. To be told that we should not use "too many" lights & appliances at once is an admission that the system is not up to standard. Where we expected to cook in the dark? • This power outage meant that we could not prepare our breakfast and necessitated us buying breakfast but the agent refused to refund this out of pocket expense On our last day we walked to the agents office at to discuss the several outstanding issues but nobody would answer the door

The location is great, in downtown Porto, at walking distance from most of the touristic attractions in the centre. Bottle of wine and water awaiting.

The property is underground (-3), and there's no elevator, so quite inconvenient if you have heavy luggage, especially at departure when you have to climb up those stairs. However, that was not the worst part. At first glance, the apartment looks good (just like on the pictures), but unfortunately in need of a very thorough cleaning. There was hair and dust on the floor, hair on bedsheets and on the towels, so we actually couldn't use any of the towels. There is some sort of "separator" between the bedroom and kitchen area, which unfortunately did not function properly, it got stuck half-way, so we couldn't really reach the kitchen during our stay. The "terrace" is a small square surrounded by high walls (because -3), but that's not the biggest issue - again, the space is very unkept, with some dry and sad plants with cobweb on the leaves. Overall, the apartment looked unfinished, as if someone was in a lot of rush to let it and definitely, very, very far from being clean.
