BGCAGreat location and although small the apartment was well equipped and perfect for the three of us.
A little bit noisy but that was more of an issue with other guests in the building.
PLUSThe location couldn't be more perfect, just minutes away from the cruise terminal bus stops, a slightly longer walk to the Santa Apolonia Metro station or a 1-2 minute walk to the #28 tram. We wanted a ground-level view of Lisbon rather than the tour-bus view, so mission accomplished. Tons of amazing tiny restaurants with small great menus that you won't find if you're staying in a hotel. Several fado restaurants nearby so you get fado music pretty much free of charge. Would definitely stay here again. The unit is spotless. Owner/rep Manuel has excellent restaurant recommendations.
Building dates to the 1800's so you're not going to find sound proofing! Unit feels small compared to U.S. but I think the size is average for the neighborhood. People were generally smaller a couple hundred years ago, and I think the architecture (read ceiling height) reflects that. Streets are cobblestone so heels are a definite no-no. Not an issue for us, just pointing out what may not be obvious.

AUWell equipped with fantastic cooking facilities including cooking oil, balsamic, ironing board, clothes rack, Netflix on tv. Fully self contained. Very spacious (horizontally). 15 minute walk from major centres.
Perfect if you are shorter than 6’0 tall! Otherwise you may have difficulty fitting in the apartment/shower/toilet. We had 2 6’0+ males who could not stand upright in the apartment.
