The staff and people were so nice

Location was great, apartment was large and suited a family of 4. Very clean, lots of towels. Ylvi and her husband very friendly and helpful. Whatapp information re restaurants, shops and using the ferry extremely helpful. Ferry to Lisbon very convenient, a very short walk to the Ferry port. Shop and restaurants on the doorstep. Welcome pack of coffee, milk, wine and water was great. WiFi very good. Pool was lovely. Apartment very close to Lisbon yet a nice relaxing area to stay. Also can purchase wine, snacks, suncream n toiletries at a reasonable price.

No washing machine. Wasn't a problem for us but if staying longer would have liked a washing machine or clothes washing service.

This was my favorite place we stayed in Portugal. When I booked it I thought it was a single apartment in an apartment building but it’s actually a small boutique hotel owned by a very kind couple. It is very design forward and comfortable and the pool is amazing. It might seem like a trek with the ferry but it was simple to use and you are dropped off at the door of the time out market and honest greens if you are fiber deficient like we were in Portugal. It was so nice to be out of the hustle of the city when we were exhausted from it everyday. There are great shops and restaurants right out the door. We really liked Carmen’s a natural wine bar two doors down.

We loved our stay at the historic Casa René. Ylvi was incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed during our visit. We stayed in Apartment 2D, a fantastic garden room with direct access to the swimming pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, right beside a pedestrian street full of atmosphere, restaurants, and cafés. There is also a supermarket and pharmacy next door, making everything very convenient. The ferry was just a short walk away, making it easy to explore Lisbon and the surrounding area. After busy days of sightseeing, Casa René was a calm and peaceful oasis to return to and relax. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.
