no fan in one room, we lost power while cooking, no microwave plate and owner is always busy somewhere. no assistance from him.

Old building in a great location, nicely, but not expensively furnished. Because two bedrooms open into the inner courtyard you do not hear street noise at night. Ideal for two couples as each can have their own bathroom. The double glazing certainly cuts street noise, but the living dining room is a good sized room looking onto the street. Owner speaks excellent English, best contacted by WhatsApp. As the hard working cleaner speaks only Portuguese, ask the owner if you want anything done.

WiFi signal is only in the living room. No signal in the bedrooms. Some small maintenance issues which the owner will address. The kitchen is at the back so relatively far from the dining area. You may find the quirky layout confusing, but it allows most rooms to face the courtyard.

Location was 10/10, easy to find, tram stop a few metres away, supermarket nearby, restaurants and bars below the apartment, our host was responsive and the apartment was spacious & clean. Perfect stay. Will stay again.

Great location on a quite street in Chiado district nearby a variety of restaurants to suit different tastes and budgets. Lots of cafe's, drinking spots a short walk away and just a few blocks from the Bica trolley. Easy walk to all the sites. The apartment was huge with soaring ceilings, 4 Juliette style balconies overlooking the mostly pedestrian street and lots of light. The bedrooms were well spaced to give you a sense of privacy. They were also located at the back of the building which guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep. Great place for 2 couples to share as there are 2 bathrooms. The cleaning staff did an amazing job😊

Unfortunately a previous guest had taken the apartment information book/binder so we had to text for some help. Communication was good and they did respond quickly to provide the WIFI password and answer our questions.

The location was what I appreciated the most. It was situated near a lot of restaurants and both the tram and the subway was very close by. It was also easy to walk to other areas in the city from where we were living. The appartment met our needs of a big family travelling together with three separate bedrooms as well as a living room where us adults could sit in the evening when the kids were already in bed. Even though the streets around us were filled with restaurants and bars, we did not experience any noise in the evenings.

Since there were beds for six people it would have been more convenient if there were enough chairs and tableware for the same amount. We only found four dining chairs and in the mornings and evenings we sat on those as well as two lounge chairs which was not the best option, but it worked off course. Also there were only four or five of some of the tableware such as coffe cups so some of us used glasses to drink tea from etc. We could also not find cutting boards in the kitchen. Since we ate both breakfast and sometimes dinner in the appartment, cooking for ourselves we missed a fully equipped kitchen. Some of the pots and pans for example did not work on an induction stove. We managed however, so it did not really affect our holiday, but as a suggestion for the owner it might be good to check out the kitchen equipment.

Location, spacious accommodation, and host are very accommodating. With mini grocery, restaurants, souvenir shops, hair salon, and bakery within 50 steps of the property.

The dishwasher and wahing machine are both not working. I should have been informed, or the facilities description for the two items should have been removed from the listing. I chose the said apartment with the hopes of doing my own laundry because I don't use hard detergents and fabric softeners like what public laundromats use.

Host Henrique was available, helpful and accommodating. Location was great with access to shops, butcher, produce markets and restaurants a short walk. The apartment was spacious & comfortable with three Juliet balconies overlooking the street.

The WiFi only works in the living room not in the entire apartment. In general the apartment was well equipped. However, I'd say one spoon, three knives and four forks are slightly not enough for seven people.
