Apartment - The Little Gem

A very well appointed apartment with everything you would need. Close to the expansive Meia Praia (beach) and two good restaurants. After our initial problem with our reception, the owner kept in contact with us and was helpful about arranging anything we needed including cleaning, changing towels and bedding. We had a great stay there, and were reluctant to leave after our two week stay! I would recommend the apartment to anyone who prefers to be outside central Lagos with easy access to the miles long beach of Meia Praia, but still has access to Lagos by a regular bus service.

There was a misunderstanding about our reception, so no one met us at the apartment at about 8 pm, as supposedly agreed beforehand. If it hadn't been for our very helpful taxi driver who was tech savvy and managed to contact the owner for the code to access the key to the apartment we would have been homeless for the night! I'm 76, and unlike everyone else I don't use a mobile phone for everything, whereas the assumption, not just of this owner, is that information is communicated at the last moment!

We especially enjoyed the unproblematic contact with the host, the size of both the apartment and the balcony. We would always come back without any hesitation.

The host sent a photo of where to find the key from the street view- was easy enough and communication was very instant

Was a little further away from all the action but that was our issue for not having known (we were just walking everywhere and it was about a 40min walk)

Superb apartment….nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine, and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the beach and the bus stop is very close to get into the centre of Lagos (no.2 bus). Comfy bed and very quiet. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine from our host! We would definitely stay there again…😎

The matress was a bit to soft for my liking, everything else was great.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to Meia Praia Beach. It is very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen which has everything you need. Communication with the owner was excellent. Very nice and spacious varanda area. Looking forward to booking again
