Apartment was cosy. Well equiped and on good location.

Mold.

Everything was perfect in the apartment. We enjoyed the place and the landlord's hospitality.

The studio is tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy, with a private entrance and a complete kitchen. I had a very easy check-in and great communication with the host. The suggestions that they gave me were very much appreciated :).

As it is the case with many old buildings, because of the humidity, the house smelled of mold. It was more felt in the main entrance than inside the room, but still I would not advise to people with asthma and allergies. There is a dehumidifier in the place, which helps a little.

The flat is newly renovated and fully equipped.

Not ideal if you travel with a toddler considering the stairs to reach the downstairs floor and the living area. From the pics we were expecting a different layout, living area and kitchen to the ground floor and bedroom to the second. Instead living and bedroom were on the ground and kitchen and bathroom in the basement so we were constantly going up and down the stairs and dangerous for toddler. It was also very cold and I found the bed uncomfortable (but I have back issues). TV wasn’t working, never met the owner, but communicated via WhatsApp

I stayed from the middle to the end of the week. Overall it was great place to stay, Paula was very cheerful even in the late evening when I arrived. She gave me some tips to look around in the city and handed the keys over. Apartment was as described and shown in pictures, everything was clean and the room smelled great. Bed was a bit harder, but it was fine to me. I actually prefer harder mattresses. They reply quite soon in messages if you have some questions, so feel free to ask.

I would like to add I would have preferred a bit more instructions about the apartment, for example - how to open and close the blinds, because I have never seen these kinds of blinds. Now I know - thanks to some Reddit page in Google. If not that difficult if you know how to do it, but I recommend asking next time from Paula, if you don't know how to do it. I am not used to cold floors in kitchen and especially in bathroom. Maybe it's a common thing in Portugal, I don't know, but in my country we usually have heated floors especially in bathroom, otherwise the tubes will froze.
