VIVA Fabulous Old World

Location great. Shower & Bathroom great. Quiet. The stairs up were not too bad with several landings on the way. The pellet heater was ‘interesting’ and we did get it to work and make the kitchen area cosy for the short times we were in it. Umbrellas left in stand were very useful thank you. Quick response when I inquired about the internet not working. Constanza also bought more pellets for the heater.

Bedroom on website was the room we used all the time as it had good light. Apartment took quite a while to heat up in early January. 2nd bedroom hard to be in with no overhead light, no space and minimum shelving. The heater eventually warmed it. Several powerpoints did not work and was hard to charge phones etc. more towels available for a weeks stay and somewhere to hang handwashing would have been useful as no washer or dryer.

This apartment is one of the most amazing we've ever stayed in. And we travel a lot for work but decided to stay to explore Porto for additional 2 days. Firstly, its massive! Just so much space. Historical with high ceiling and some amazing pieces of furniture and decorations. Bed in the main room has great mattress, bathroom has really powerful designer built modern rainforest shower. It is on the 2nd-3rd floor but those are half stairs and I'm not much of a stairs walker but didn't mind those. Location is central and great! Try Ernesto restaurant for some great food and vibes. And Viva was communicating via whats app and helped in like 2 mins when we asked a question. This place comes much recommended.

Great location, very high ceilings, felt like staying at a friend’s home. They’d made a big effort for us - last minute a friend with her toddler came to join us and they brought an extra travel cot.

The kitchen could have a couple of large serving plates and some more cooking utensils (but they otherwise had everything we needed and we could manage).

Great location, spacious and attractive.

Very minor, but the front door can be tricky to open.

We loved the charm of the property and the decor. It was also very well located with easy access to the city. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Porto.

The location was nice and the property was charming.

The listing showed 2 KING beds. One was King, the other was a double. The bedroom with the King bed was an interior room with no windows. The photo of this interior room was taken toward the hallway with a window, which gives you the impression that the room had windows.

Great place and location was fantastic

The apartment is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the location is right in the center of the tourist area. It's easy to walk to all the sights in Porto from the apartment.

There is a lot of street noise at night. It was cold and rainy when we visited and the apartment was hard to heat up. There are heaters, but they are not efficient. We could not leave our luggage or do a late checkout.
