Marina 2BDR Apartment With Balcony & Pool - 5min from beach by LovelyStay

This apartment was perfect. 2 minute walk to the marina, which is full of good restaurants, bars, live music & craic. The pool was spectacular, very big, deep & clean with plenty of sunbeds. The apartment itself was spotless, very spacious and with very comfortable beds. It has a stunning terrace with a view of the pool aswell as a small view of the marina/boats.

We stayed for 5 nights and the only things that would have made it better was a washing machine & a second key. We had nowhere to do laundry including washing shower towels that were provided. Only having one key meant if someone went up to the apartment alone they would have to come down to let others in (very inconvenient if on a night out & someone goes to bed earlier).

Muito boa localização, próximo à praia, mercado, bares e restaurantes. Apartamento limpo e completo, contendo utensílios e eletrodomésticos necessários.

O check in. A chave estava em um pequeno cofre, mas não foi explicada a localização do cofre, nem como utilizar a tag de acesso ao prédio. Foi necessário ligar para alguém explicar e, mesmo assim, conseguimos entrar porque o zelador chegou e explicou na hora. Também perguntamos, dentro do prazo determinado, sobre a possibilidade de um late check out, mesmo sendo segunda-feira, e eles sempre se negam. Solicitamos apenas 1h para arrumarmos as coisas, mas eles não permitem. Não há flexibilidade.

Location and comfort

The location was excellent, short walk to the marina and the beach. Size of the apartment was good.

Pool area very run down, unsafe for young children as broken plastic furniture in sunbed area, uncovered electrics on grass area. Small pool was closed for maintenance and quardened off with sunbeds and some tape which again was unsafe as no water in the pool. Was told by company that provided the room that they were not responsible for maintenance, however they advertise the facilities with the apartment. Apartment not up to standard either as mould on bathroom roof, front door badly sticking and hard to close, furniture on balcony peeling and mouldy, my husband got stuck in the bedroom as the door latch was faulty and rather than having it repaired a piece of tape was put over it, this tape wore through and he was locked in the room. Also not enough bedding provided and not supplied when asked for. Very disappointing stay.
