I honestly don’t understand the surge of negative comments. This is a very well-equipped apartment with all the necessary appliances. People are complaining about the €100 deposit being charged – but that information is clearly stated in the apartment description, everything is fair. Moreover, you get it back after you check out. Some complain that the key pickup is in a different location than the apartment itself. That’s also mentioned in the description! And the key pickup point is only a 10-minute taxi ride from the apartment, so I really don’t see the issue. The apartment offers great value for the price. There are comments that there aren’t many coffee capsules or laundry detergent pods, but come on – it’s an apartment, not a five-star hotel. The place is clean, has everything you need – even an iron and a hairdryer – and everything works perfectly. Both bed and sofa are comfortable. The location is great because it’s close to everything, but not right in the busy city center. As women we felt safe there even though we walked at night a lot. It’s quiet and you can get a good night’s sleep. The owner is a lovely person, explained everything to us and was available by phone in case we needed anything.

On a positive note the location was excellent in every aspect. However, we were not happy when we were told that if we checked in after 22 hours we would be charged €30! Furthermore, we were told in order to check-in and collect our key, we had to go to a different location to collect the key, then travel to our designated location! In my opinion this was not acceptable. If this is their protocol then they should state this clearly on their page. Consequently, then we were met by a member of their staff at the arrivals and were able to obtain the key! Another important point is that we were not made aware of having to pay €56 euros being the (tourist tax)! I did not mind paying, but at least make your guests aware of it in advance! In terms of the accommodation, I would rate it as passable. It is modern, clean and the location was ideal! Though we had two issues with the apartment : one the main door to the entrance to the building was just impossible to open at times, and you had to use brut force to open and close the door! All the residents were really struggling, I did notify the letting agency and I was told “technically it is up to the landlord”…. but they assured me that they will contact the landlord to rectify the problem. Then we were told that the landlord informed them that due to the recent storm the wooden door was damaged! So we were told to lift the door a little in order to open or close the door! No one addressed this issue and we struggled for a week. At times we were stuck for a long time in order to open the front door! But it was not rectified! As a person living with cancer, I did not have strength to open/shut the door so had to depend on my husband. We are both in our 70’s so I do not feel that it was appropriate for us to struggle like this….,. Secondly, the mattress was so uncomfortable as it was sunk in the middle! It certainly needs replacing, as we really struggled to have a comfortable nights sleep!

Our two-week stay at this apartment left an extremely negative impression. The level of service, the condition of the accommodation, and the general attitude toward guests did not meet expectations at all. 1. Key Collection To begin with, the keys had to be collected from a different location, which was highly inconvenient after a long journey. Typically, one would expect them to be handed over at the property itself, but unfortunately, this was not arranged. 2. Cleanliness and Apartment Condition The apartment itself was in terrible condition. The floors and carpets were dirty, the sofa was stained, and the closets were dusty and disorganized. Mold was found in the bathroom, and the walls in the rooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. It seemed like cleaning was either very superficial or not done at all. 3. Lack of Basic Amenities The apartment lacked even the most basic amenities: • No dishwasher capsules, laundry detergents, or cleaning supplies. • Liquid soap and shower gel were almost empty, with only leftovers in the bottles. • Only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for a two-week stay. Considering this is supposed to be a long-term rental, this level of preparation was, at the very least, disappointing. 4. Issues with Linen and Towel Replacement When we picked up the keys, we specifically requested that the bedding and towels be replaced at least once during our stay. The staff agreed and even set a specific day for this. However, no one showed up. When we asked why the arrangement hadn’t been fulfilled, we were told that we should have reminded them ourselves! This is simply unacceptable. In the end, we had to find a self-service laundry and wash everything on our own. 5. Electrical Issues The apartment also had electrical problems. If two appliances, such as the washing machine and the kettle, were used simultaneously, the circuit breaker would trip.
