Comfort Zone beach apartment

My sister and i had a wonderful time at this apartment. Modern, clean everything we needed. Parking if you had a car. Bus station nearby, supermarket, beach short walk. Bubbles Café and my favourite Eurolatina Padaria & Pastelaria av Francisco sa Carneiro. 5 Fratelli Osteria Great Italian on beach front. Coffee shop on the beach great place to relax

The apartment was lovely decorated, equiped with all needed amenities, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The photos are exactly what you will encounter but the apartment is really a great size and the photos don't do justice. The property offers its own parking spot which is very convenient. Watch for the large SUVs, you might not be able to drive in. Within the block, you can find a laundry, butcher and a small shop and around 250metres there is a good sized supermarket. The property is located a block away from the beach where there was a lovely promenade filled with a variety of restaurants. Massive compliment to the owners/management company regarding communication. It was professional, responsive and caring from the moment we booked throughout our stay. Anabela went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, even during the Easter holidays. I really can't recommend it enough. We hope to be back in the Summer!

Despite being advertised as a Beach Front property, this appartment IS NOT beach front. The owner also very cleverly put some sea view photos, but there's no sea view (not even partially) Once I contacted the owner about the sea view, he told me that, booking.com is responsible to put the property as Beach Front and not him. Also the sea view photos are "Just to show the area" and not descriptive of the apartment. I felt mislead by this, as it's a clear attempt to get customers by promoting a fake beach front. Being on beach front was of the upmost importance for me, and this person ruined that. Once I entered the apartment there was a strong smell to sewers coming from the private Bathroom. Once I contacted the owner about it he told me that this is strange but normal, and to open the water where the smell is coming from. Apparently he told me that on his place he has the same issue and this solves it. Needless to say that it did not solve the smell issue and for 5 days we had to withstand this. Extremely small balcony (see picture) The internet and TV are VERY slow. I tried to watch a Netflix movie, but the TV kept buffering (due to slow internet) rendering a very bad experience and leading to not wanting to watch the movie at all .. So I decided to watch cable instead but this is a Chinese brand TV, the remote connects via bluetooth to it and eventually the remote stops registering button presses, so I could not change the channel for instance, then when the Bluetooth connection re-establish all the button presses are processed and the TV just goes crazy changing the channels by itself... Very annoying experience. The sound isolation towards the outside corridor does not exist. Every time neighbours would leave or arrive, it would be like they are just 1 meter from you. (this for me is not important, but I guess it's worth mentioning)

The dog next door barks late into the night; not very good sound installation with the neighbours; the double bed wasn't comfortable for a couple; a fan in the parents' bedroom would be a good addition
