Very clean and modern apartment Pedro was very easy to deal with and gives excellent instructions about the apartment. It's only a few minutes walk from the old town square.

Steep hills are the only downfall.

Great location, only a short walk from the centre, but quiet anyway. Really helpful service by the owner, apartment ist well equipped, many lovely details. Really good value for money.

Living room a bit dark, would need an additional lighting. No dishwasher - but on the other hand lots of restaurants in the town so no need to wash the dishes that often...

An interesting blue apartment with all the necessities. The old town is just a few minutes away, it is a steep way back, but not unusual for the Mediterranean. I have never seen such a detailed online manual about check-in, parking and such.

Not really important, but a brighter light in the living room/kitchen would be nice.

We loved the outdoor patio area. Listening to the music from down below and the church bells tolling softly on the hour was nice as we had a glass of wine. The washing machine and drying rack were really appreciated as was laundry soap and coffee. These little touches really made it feel like home. The host was very responsive and the restaurant recommendations were wonderful suggestions. The Casa de Forte was exceptional. A quick 10 minute walk to town, 5 minutes beyond that to a beautiful beach and a quick walk to the market, made walking the preferred choice to get around. I would definitely stay here again, really lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The good news is that the apartment is large enough and with a pleasant decor, the bathroom is large enough, there is a nice little porch and a view (not of the ocean, but nice), and the shower is large enough, even for big people like me (198cm, 6’6”). The kitchen equipment is good, we didn’t cook but there was plenty of plates and enough utensils for heating up food, making coffee, toast, etc. No dishwasher, but the clothes washer is good, and is quiet. There are several things that made it less than fully comfortable for us. We complained about no shower mat in the shower, and another good thing is that they delivered one within a few hours, along with a complimentary bottle of wine, so that was nice. The bath mat when you get out of the shower is about as large as a postage stamp. The bathroom sink is similarly small. There are no towel racks, just hooks, so basically the towels don’t get dry. Don’t use the clothes washer before taking a shower or you won’t have enough hot water. The bed is poor. Small enough for two small people, maybe, and a poor quality mattress. We took spare cushions from the sofa and put them on the bed, so at least it was comfortable, but only for one person. My wife slept on the sofa. The living room badly needs some tables next to the sofa. We used the chairs for tables - BTW they make a terrible screeching sound when they slide on the floor. The most important thing is the place is difficult to find. The address is 15A Rua Pilhanhas. Building 15 is easy to find, but Where O Where is apartment “A”? You better look at the “app” info they send. Also: DO NOT TURN ON RUA PILHANHAS!!!, it is very steep and essentially a dead end (very narrow so Google thinks it is a full street but even they told us you cannot make it through). Park up at the top of the hill and carry your stuff down a steep hill about 30m. If you turn on Rua Pilhanhas you will have to back up a steep and gravely street! Walking further dow

Walking further down this street will get you to the center of town (or anyway one area of activity), and the good thing here is that it is maybe 10 min walk and you won’t hear the noise. We did hear our neighbors, but it was not bad. We would not go back but that doesn’t mean you won’t like it. If they replace the bed with a larger, more comfortable one, and add towel racks I could see coming back.

Host Pedro was very friendly and helpfull. Short (but steep) walk to old town. Had a great stay; apartment had all the amenities (great water pressure from shower!). They have created a guest app: very usefull and convenient with all the information about the apartment and such.
