Lots of space!

No coffee machine, a lot of stairs. Parking was hard to find. Bathroom door handle was broken and it wouldn’t shut.

During our trip to Europe we stayed at 5 other places so we had lots to compare to. This apartment was not as hospitable and clean as some of the others but it was definitely a good bargain (especially for large families). I think a bit more care could be taken to the cleanliness of the showers other than that, everything else was clean and acceptable. The bathroom does have an odor as some other reviewers indicated but it was not terribly bad; could easily be fixed by putting automatic air fresheners throughout the unit (or diffusers) and toilet fresheners in the toilets. With a few tweaks to make the place more homey, the apartment could be exceptional, but for now it is just decent and acceptable.

Parking is a bit difficult in the area but the host did give me an alternative to park at a nearby hotel at a cost of $15 (but on our way back to the unit we actually found a spot after paying at the hotel 🤦🏽‍♀️).

the taxes were not included and for some reason they would not charge taxes on our credit card on file.

I am a planner and I typically like to plan things far in advance. I wanted help arranging a taxi at 3am for a flight out of Lisbon at 5:30am. They assisted me with that and took care of that headache for me. So, they went above and beyond for our family of 5. We were met at the apartment, quickly shown the apartment, given the keys and then the gentleman was gone in a flash. He seemed like he had somewhere else to be. It's important to know that this flat is on the second floor with no elevator, nor lighting in the stairwell. Plan to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs and you will need a phone light and patience to unlock the door if you leave. We found a simple Italian restaurant around the corner, ate and came home to crash. We weren't in the apartment but maybe 7 hours. We found the shower to be hot (there were two). The beds/rooms to be comfortable and spacious (four). All of the rooms had a tv with a lot of channels to choose from. All three of our kids were able to have their own room. We didn't use any appliances. We found the apartment to be spacious, and comfortable. It was a good option for a quick turnaround for us.

The kitchen area did have a slight smell, but it was at the far end of the apartment. The stairwell didn't have any lighting which made returning to the apartment difficult and unlocking the apartment door. Had we stayed longer, the location of the apartment was more residential and would require a bit of a walk to the main areas. I would hate to have to park here as I never saw a space available.

very clean and spacious, kitchen and dining area very nice and having 2 shower rooms was excellent too. having air conditioning in the bedrooms really helped.

One room has no window and no air conditioner
