Big rooms with clean facilities

Great location just 5 minutes walk from the train station and Lagos marina. Easy 10 minutes walk to reach the old town and all the bars/restaurants. Spotless clean apartment with everything you could need during your stay. Comfortable large double bed and modern bathroom with nice hot shower. Nice balcony with table and chairs for relaxing on an evening. Friendly helpful hosts so we would definitely recommend a stay.

Location…great to get to beaches, train, bus, market, etc.

TV…I couldn’t really understand the 2 modums, etc. but I’m not a big TV watcher. Unfortunately there were renovations happening…so lots of drilling and sanding and paint fumes…and sound travels well from other tenants…so ear plugs helped. Google maps didn’t have the right directions but I got there thanks to a few helpful folks in the complex.

We had such a lovely time at the Cardeira. Checking in was easy, and we were so pleased to find a very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment, with plenty of storage space and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. We found the bed to be extremely comfortable (so much so that we want the same one at home now 🙂) The apartment is well located, it's around 15 minutes on foot to the Old Town and is a lovely walk around the harbour and over the bridge. The large beach is just a 10 minute walk away, but we preferred the little rock beaches, around 30 mins on foot, on the side of the Old Town. You can get the Tourist Train to Praia d Ana and Ponta da Piedade, beautiful beaches with amazing rock formations. We loved Lagos and can't wait to go back. Thank you Britt and Carlos for such a pleasant stay.

There was nothing we didn't like

the property has everything you require for a long or short stay. The quality of the fittings and furnishings could not be faulted. The only downside for us was it was quite a walk into town and back, but we are seventy five! The Marina was much closer with a large range of bars and restaurants.

A sun canopy on the balcony would have been nice
