Tolle Aussicht. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe und zeigen der Ferienwohnung.

Eine ewig lange Nachricht von der Vermietungsagentur (49 Zeilen lang) wie ich zu der Ferienwohnung gelange, statt einfach die Adresse in der Nachricht zu hinterlassen. Dafür gab es Koordinaten. Ferienwohnung und Agentur liegen nicht einmal 1 Minute auseinander. Das im Zeitalter von Navigation. Wäre ich dem link Wegbeschreibung von booking.com gefolgt, wäre ich einfacher zu der Unterkunft gelangt. So bin ich den 49 Zeilen gefolgt, völlig unverständlich, einfach typisch deutsch. Sorry.

De locatie, het uitzicht op zee was perfect! De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bedden waren goed, niet te hard.

Wat wij misten was verlichting op het dakterras om zo nog langer van het uitzicht te genieten 😍 Er was geen airco en dat had op zich wel fijner geweest. Het koelde wel af s'avonds maar dan nog was het warm. Ook tegen de muggen is een airco toch wel beter. Voor de rest was het super!!

Overall, an excellent 2nd floor condo for the price and a superb location. Personally, we would book again. Very close (walking distance) to decent restaurants, and better restaurants just down the road to Carvoeiro. View out the back windows over the cliffs towards the ocean superb. Rooftop patio even better, but we couldn't enjoy it too much because of the relentless winds. Parking was close and easily available. Everything we needed was there. Walk out the back, and there is the famous Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos trail for you to explore at your leisure!

For extra luxury, a stovetop moka coffee maker, and a hand held shower head would be ideal. But these are minor points.

The apartment is in a lovely area with an amazing sea view. The rooms are well proportioned and the bed very comfy. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed for a 10 day stay.

The apartment is very cold in winter with two small heaters that struggled to heat up the whole apartment and which we paid extra for electricity. It would have been better to have had extra blankets for the bed and the pillows could do with replacing as not supportive at all. It would also help to have a few extra pegs for washing.

Amazing view from the apartment window and great terrasse to enjoy the sunset. Location is also fabulous as it is right on the edge of a hike and at a walking distance from a beach.

No air-conditioning despite being listed in the facilities available. That made it very difficult to sleep at night. That kind of “mistake” should simply not happen.
