Não há privacidade com as janelas rés do chão, tem uma praça colada à janela e desocupados ficam lá o dia todo e podem vigiar tudo, bem como não há grades, sendo completamente vulnerável. Assim, não se pode abrir as janelas e não há ar condicionado, o que torna o ambiente escuro, quente e sem ventilação. O edifício não possui nenhum isolamento. Escuta- se tudo da rua e dos vizinhos.

Excelente localização

Apartamento no res do chão sem ar condicionado. Com a calor que estava e sem poder abrir janelas durante a noite era quase impossível dormir.

Clean and spacious

I chose this apartment because I know the area very well, having previously lived around there, and knew that as a single woman, it would be easy to navigate. The location is ideal, being a stone's throw away from shops and the beach. It’s also conveniently close to Vilamoura. Everything you need for a self-catering holiday is on your doorstep, including places to eat, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, as the apartment is tucked behind the pedestrian area of Quarteira. My trip was split into two parts as I had to return to the UK for a job. Both of my arrivals were delayed until the evening, but Alexandra kept in touch with me by phone on both occasions. Even if it inconvenienced her and her son to meet me so late, you would never have known—they were both such a pleasure to meet. The apartment was spotless, and the photos don't reflect the size of the lounge/dining area—it's much larger than you'd expect. The kitchen is well equipped, and I was welcomed with a gift basket of wine, chocolate, and crisps. (No kettle, but the microwave is quick and simple to use for us tea-drinking Brits.) There is even a washing machine tucked neatly away in a cupboard in the hall. My belongings felt safe locked in the apartment for 24 hours. Plus, I left my earphones after I checked out, and Alexandra kindly notified me and has kept them safe. For the most part, the apartment is beautifully quiet. However, the lounge window is on the side of a little park/garden, and you will find some noisy people congregating there in the late summer evening. It wasn’t enough for me to complain and is no reflection on the property. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Quarteira.
