Location was both horrible and wonderful. Horrible to go up the hill, but rewarding with an amazing view to the ocean. Biggest ocean view I have ever seen. There is an additional route to the place through Rua dad Florencas, it's a bit of a detour but skips the crazy uphill.

It is pretty isolated so not much to do in the area. Best to get some stuff from the street below instead of making a trip for dinner, the way to the place is in a crazy angle.

Tout était parfait , le logement est confortable et bien situé. Les propriétaires sont t très sympathiques, et disponibles. La piscine chauffée et le jacuzzi , barbecue sont vraiment un plus. Nous recommandons ce logement à 100%.

Il manque juste une grande planche à découper

Très bon accueil de l'hôte.. L'appartement est bien équipé. Piscine intérieure et jacuzzi Balcon avec très belle vue sur l'océan Rapport qualité/prix

Pour accéder à l'appartement, ça monte fort. Cependant, les routes sont en bon état.

Very nice hosts, clean, big flat.

Road to the house is very uphill, far away from any nearby towns with a car to Funchal, like 50 mins. Also, the location is a village; it really depends on your expectations.

"Tolle Unterkunft gute Lage und Preisleistung"

Freundlicher Gastgeber, der bis spät abends auf uns gewartet hat, wir sind im Dunkeln angekommen und hatten Schwierigkeiten die Unterkunft zu finden. Sehr abgelegen oben in den Bergen. Wir wurden nett begrüßt und durften auch erst mal ankommen und dann am nächsten Tag mit Bargeld bezahlen. Er zeigte uns die Unterkunft und den Pool, sowie Whirlpool und Grillbereich. Er gab uns auch Empfehlungen für Supermärkte und Restaurants. Die Kommunikation im englischen verlief ganz gut. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, von Streichhölzer, über Schuhregal und Föhn.

Die steile Straße dahin war wirklich nicht ohne, und jedes Mal ein Risiko, ob Gegenverkehr kommt. Aber es hat immer geklappt. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen
