Casa Boma Lisboa - Sunny and Elegant Apartment - Lapa V

This apartment could be something really special with some extra upkeep. The apartment is huge with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The decor is really lovely and the beds and linens were particularly comfortable. The self check in was easy, although it was very useful that the hosts sent through a video describing the process. Having to use your phone to get the code was good, but won't suit everyone. It was great to not have to look after keys when out exploring! The area was really lovely and very quiet, although a bit further out. There was a bus that stops quite close.

The stairs are quite steep. The wooden floors are beautiful, but very creaky. Given the emphasis on no outside noise, the floors seemed to be really loud in the night. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning. The basics are there and it was clean, but some fabric surfaces, corners etc were noticeably dusty and some mould. Some fixtures were broken (eg kitchen tap, though still functional) and the door of the dishwasher seemed to stick so I wasn't game to use it. With the extra attention it would be an outstanding property, because the space and the decor and location were all excellent.

Spacious apartment, clean and light. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Quiet location and convenient to get around the city.

A little challenging stairs to the apartment. Also, the floor numbers are different than in the U.S. So, it’s important to ensure that floor numbers are clear to those of us who are registering remotely.

Location, size, facilities, comfy bed

It looked somewhat shabbier than in the photos, soap and shower gel bottles were filled only in one of the bathrooms. Powder for the washing machine was not provided

the decoration and the views

there were no kitchen towels or cloths to dry the plates after washing and the bathrooms served the purpose but felt a bit simple compared to the rest of the house

Excellent location, quiet and full of light. Using internet link to open the apartmrnts door is cool. Nice living room and two (!) bathrooms. Nice authentic wooden floor. Open and closed balconies. Very good coffee shop (roasters) 20 steps away.

There is no airconditionning but it was not a problem even in warm days.
