Carvoeiro Beach Duplex

The apartment was beautiful with lots of room and in a fantastic location.

The umbrella on the roof terrace is for tall people to put up and take down!

The apartment is lovely. It’s important to be able to maneuver stairs. There are 3 flights, one to the main living area/kitchen, another to the bedroom/bathrooms and a 3rd to the outside terrace. We are 76/78 and did fine but just be aware. All the amenities you could hope for are provided. The bed is comfortable, AC great, the terrace lovely, kitchen great. Free parking nearby. It’s a great location for walking to restaurants, shops, the coast walk or driving to Silva, Faro….The shower is great! Sweet small beach at the end of town.

The only negative I would say is you are between 2 streets and so there is some noise from the streets. I’m overly sensitive to noise so probably most people wouldn’t be bothered. Also the car parking area is a bit of a climb up a hill though not too far so again need to be able to navigate hills.

Unfortunately we chose the wrong weekend to visit as it was the annual music festival. Loud music till 3am!! If your early to bed types it could be a little noisy as lots of restaurants below the bedroom. I found the laundry detergent on the bedding very overpowering and had to rinse my pillow cases.

The property was in a perfect position in town. It was spotless and very comfortable.

The host offered us suggestions re beaches - Restaurents and places near by.

Faultless

A wonderful apartment in the heart of Carvoeiro.

We loved the location and how comfortable , modern and well appointed the apartment was. The rooftop deck was a great bonus.

Loved everything

Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed upstairs. Nice shower/bathroom and rooftop patio. Really close to the beach and overlook (amazing sunsets!!), right in the heart of the town (this also comes with its downsides). The owner also owns a jewelry shop below and they have some really beautiful pieces for reasonable prices.

We needed to cut our trip short and tried to cancel but missed the window by less than 12 hours. Unfortunately they wouldn’t make an exception and that felt unreasonable. We didn’t want to lose money so we decided to go anyway. The place was very nice. The parking was awful. I picked a rental that said there was parking, but the parking in this case was just street parking. In the peak month of August it was near impossible to find at certain hours. We wasted a lot of time just looking for parking. Other things to note that are really just based on your personal preference… It’s a lot of stairs. That was OK for us but could be hard for some folks. It’s on the main tourist street with tons of people so privacy in and out is nonexistent, which was awkward and overwhelming when we had trouble finding the actual door upon arrival. It’s also loud until late hours so bring a noise machine or earplugs if you go to bed at an earlier hour. Again, these are not dealbreakers for everyone, just things to be aware of.
