Location is great! Very central in Alfama, you can easily walk around town from here. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for 3 nights. Very easy to get the keys, clear instructions.

The communication with the host was ok, but could have been better. There were a few times when I waited for a response on Whatsapp or Booking for way too long, and when I pointed it out, they were defensive about it, while I think they should have just apologized and moved on. Regarding the apartment, the space is ok, but it could use additional storage space. For example, there is an empty wall next to the front door where they could have easily put coat hangers or a fullsize mirror. Also, there is an empty space below the bathroom sink where they could have put drawers for extra storage. The bathroom itself is a bit weird, it could be more private, it has semi-transparent glass "walls", so you can easily see or hear what the person inside is doing.
