Ants in the bathroom. It's not a big problem, but ... annoying.

It is a lovely apartment, a kitchen which was very well equipped, Very spacious lounge,

We did find many issues, we had but were very hard to get any help with, We only could use the lower shower as the upper section was coming away from its fittings at the top, Your paperwork to us clearly states a BATH , there was No BATH...... The corridor on floor 3 was in pitch darkness after day 1 as the lights did not work, so day or night it was impossible to get the key in the lock to open the door, we did have a torch, plus you had to pull on the door knob and turn the key in darknest for the door to open, We felt very much on our own, We never complain , just check our records with you,

This was by far the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had and especially for near €1,300 I was charged €300 for a lost key, which was outrageous, I received an invoice from the agency and when I asked for an invoice from the locksmith company or the 'technician' as they called him, they declined to provide this documentation. I have since called locksmiths in my city and town and a day call out is 90-120€ with copies of keys. They then said I showed no interest in finding the key - seriously!! Night 2 the kitchen area was infested with ants, I emailed agency asking to be moved or reimbursed but they offered to spray the area instead, arrived following morning to spray affected area but there was no follow-up from the team to check if the issue had been resolved to our satisfaction, unfortunately, the issue persisted, and more ants were present throughout the remainder of our stay. To know insects were crawling around the kitchen area was disgusting. I then had to clean up possibly around 70-80 dead ants from worktop, kitchen & living room floor. When I raised this with booking.com the agency said it was not their responsibility to spray area with insecticide - my question then is who is responsible? It was clear that no preventative measures were in place especially considering the number of ants visible in the video I sent them. They said it was scraps that was left out overnight that caused the infestation, that is 100% untrue, it was a pizza that was purchased early evening left in its box on the counter to finish later that evening. But the most disturbing part of my stay was when a staff member made false and damaging statements about me to booking.com. They said I was unpleasant, threating and used language, I submitted all documentation to booking.com to highlight that these accusations were false. Not only is this unprofessional — it was completely unacceptable and amounts to defamation of character.

Really nice place in a good area. Easy to access and staff was very helpful and lovely.

There were bugs in a few kitchen appliances that hadn't been used in a while

Spacious, clean and had all amenities avaliable

Only minor issue is that the door to the apartment was slightly difficult to open and close
