The apt. Itself was ok. We are an older couple. Thus, the apt. was not a good choice. If you are younger and enjoy being where the action is it is a good location.

Location was party central-bars,restaurants noise till midnight. Steep stairs, bed very small, none of which is mentioned it the Booking info on the apartment. Not near the beach. A good 15 to 20 minute walk TV did not work Owner aware of TV situation but did nothing to rectify

The property was very good, clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The view from both balconies was superb.

The only downside was the location being so close to the bars . The noise usually until around 2am was way outwith our comfort zone and for that reason I definitely would not book it again. It’s such a shame because we both loved the apartment.

The flat is very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The double aspect means it's very bright. I was in the flat with the roof terrace which has wonderful views of the river and sunset over the nature reserve. However, the kitchen is different and does not have a washing machine but the owner can make arrangement to enable you to do your washing. I liked being able to walk to the shops, cafés and beach. The bakery at the top of town do great sourdough, Pastel de nata and coffee. My favourite place was the boardwalk around the nature reserve in the early evening light before sundown for the peace and quiet....

The property is in the main road which comes to life at night and is very noisy with sports and karaoke bars and young revellers until the early hours, which is great if you're a party person... but not so good if you're not 😉 Alvor is very much a 'holiday village' and mainly populated with tourists - especially Brits and Irish

Stayed for 1 week in September. We stayed in the duplex apartment with a balcony on each floor. The upper balcony was big enough to sit on and enjoy the sun (table and chairs no loungers), the lower balcony good for a drink and people watching - both balcony’s have amazing views of the harbour. The apartment was modern and clean and was perfect for a weeks stay. Any longer than 1 week then it’s worth staying out of town in a villa or apartment with a pool as Uber’s are very cheap and convenient.

The downside is that we were told we could stay in the roof terrace apartment, which the owner even recommended. We were told the night before arriving that this wasn’t possible anymore. This was disappointing as had we were looking forward to having the roof terrace and extra outdoor space, had we known this during the free cancellation period we would have opted for a place out of town with more space. Overall however, a great stay in a lovely apartment. Ideal for a week or so but if you want outdoor space then I would look elsewhere. The noise from the strip wasn’t too bad and didn’t bother us at all but if you’re looking for early nights then probably not the best option for you

Only thing is noisy outside late at night but you can expect that on the main strip

Beautiful and comfortable apartment in the lively centre of Alvor with a great view of the harbour. The apartment has everything you need - down to an umbrella for the beach. Extremely friendly host who is keen to help in every possible way.

Slightly on the negative: there are bars and restaurants next door. It can get noisy at night if you like to sleep with an open window.

Excellent location. Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped which made for a very comfortable stay.
