Lucky Star Marina Apartment, with Pool

Very modern and clean. Had everything you needed great location to restaurants and shops

Beautiful property. So clean . Beds were so comfy 😃. 2 minutes walk to the supermarket . ( we even used the shopping trolley provided in the apartment ,so handy 😆). Property Also Just around the corner from the marina and over the bridge to the old town of Lagos .The best of both worlds

We loved our stay at Lucky Star Marina! Rene and Angie are the perfect hosts - great communication before we arrived and the warmest welcome when we did. The apartment is really lovely and spacious, very comfortable beds, great showers and so nice to have beach towels to use too. The balcony has a nice view and it's such a quiet area so no disturbances. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Having the supermarket so close by was great and would highly recommend the sushi from there. Having a car park space was a bonus too. The pool is really nice (open from 10am) - it's a few minutes walk around the Marina and has a bar for drinks all day, a shop that opens at 12 for drinks and ice creams etc, and there is also a restaurant to get food. We spent a great day at Slide & Splash, a water park about 30 mins drive away. We used the parasols from the apartment which saved us having to hire them. We had beautiful food at Casinha do Petisco (Oliveira Street) - it's a traditional family run Portuguese restaurant that serves the most delicious Cataplana and great seafood. It's only small so worth getting there when they open at 5pm (closed on a Sunday) unless you are happy to wait a while.

Spacious, high specification, it was truly setup to enable family self catering cooking. There was all the utensils, cooking oil, salt & pepper etc so we didn't need to buy things that you only need a little of.

The apartment is beautiful. It is very tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean. It is also very spacious & bright. It is in a quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the fantastic Pingo Doce supermarket. There is access to a wonderful pool in the nearby marina, just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is about a 20 minute very pleasant walk to the centre of Lagos & literally a few minutes walk to the pretty marina with lots of restaurants & bars. Rene & Angie are fantastic hosts & have thought of everything to make their guests feel welcome & have a wonderful holiday. We can’t wait to return.

Apartment was furnished to a very high standard with very comfortable beds and good quality furniture, (sofa with reclining leather armchairs.) It was also very well equiped with anything you might need for your stay. Including towels and parasols for the beach. as well as having air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge. Its location within the marina development meant plenty of bars and restaurants with a five minute walk, and the town and Meia Praia beach are both a 15 to 20 min walk away. Despite being on the edge of the Marina complex the flat was quiet and we were far enough away not to be disturbed by noise from the bars in the marina. There is also a large Pingo Doce supermarket 2 mins from the flat.

Nothing really we had an excellent holiday. Only thing to note is that the apartment does not have its own pool but you get passes to the marina pool complex which is a two minute walk away and has an adult and childrens pool and plenty of sun beds.

The apartment was really well stocked with dishes, towels, and various other useful items for our stay. The location was also great, the grocery store was really close and the apartment was just off the beaten path so it was quiet but really close to both downtown and the beach. The pool access at the Marina Club was really great too, such a nice pool - our 3 year old daughter had a blast! Rene and Angie were great hosts and explained everything really well on arrival, we also appreciated all the beach recommendations - we saw most of them!

We loved everything about our 5 night stay at Lucky Star Marina Apt! We’ve been all over Portugal for a month in 9 different cities and this was our favorite accommodation! René & Angie met us at the apartment, showed us where everything was in the apt & provided some tips for the beaches & area. The apartment was spotlessly cleaned, nicely decorated and very comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen was very well-equipped which allowed for cooking in a couple times and there is nice grocery store a 2 min walk from apartment. It was great to have the grocery trolley provided, too. The beds, pillows and towels (including the large beach towels) were excellent. We also enjoyed the terrace and the abundance of light. AC worked great in all rooms, too. The location was fantastic (as was the parking spot), quiet & just a short walk to old town. We loved Lagos and I would highly recommend staying here-we hope to come back again in the future!
