Nature&Soul - MAR

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in Nature & Soul. Het huis ligt op een prachtige locatie, met het strand op slechts een paar minuten rijden en een supermarkt in de buurt (wel een auto nodig voor alles). Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en volledig uitgerust. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten!

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad, maar in de badkamer hadden we helaas extreem last van mieren. We begrijpen dat je op zo’n plek altijd wel kans hebt op kleine beestjes, maar het was soms lastig om ongestoord gebruik te maken van het toilet. Dit kon niet zonder eerst tientallen mieren te verwijderen. Misschien kan er iets aan gedaan worden, bijvoorbeeld met een val of ander middel, zodat toekomstige gasten hier minder last van hebben.

Everything was perfect, super clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and easy-going. The view is amazing and so is the apartment. Perfect size for 4 people.

Views were stunning, unique to have a bathtub outside.

1. We had ants in the bathroom and the bedroom. This made us feel like the place wasn’t sufficiently clean. In general, the level of cleanliness could have been better. 2. The place looks stylish but the fit out was basic, it felt cheap and not up to standard of what we paid. 3. Having a car is a must. You’ll be left with no breakfast or access to drinkable water otherwise. 4. The quality of the service was disappointing. Nobody was there to welcome us. We had the impression we would be treated to a bottle of bubbly on arrival, which they mentioned in the house rule, but we had to actively ask for it. No toiletries provided. Again, given the price we paid, we were expecting a better service.

The location is beautiful and we enjoyed staying away from busy touristy locations. It was nice to travel to where we wanted to tour/visit and then return to a nature filled tranquil space. Loved the landscape, outdoor shower, and the fantastic view. There are two nearby beaches, one where you can surf and which are a 5-minute drive from the property. It was a very quiet and a relaxing location. The homeowner, Luis was very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay at this property again and would recommend the property to others.

Only some minor items. The home is meagerly provided with amenities. For example, one tea cloth in the kitchen for 4 days and no hand towel. For cleanliness considerations, drying your dishes and your hands should not be done with the same towel. It would be nice if the kitchen had some very basic items, like olive oil, vinegar, sugar for coffee. The bedrooms are fitted with cheap lumpy poly stuffed pillows for sleeping. There are bath towels but no beach towels, but the host kindly provided us with additional towels to use at the beach. Would have liked to have an umbrella on the balcony to sit outside under shade as guests are not allowed to use the homeowners' space which has a shaded area.
