The apartment is wonderful,functional,in an excellent location

First of all: The photos correspond to reality (only a few small pieces of furniture are placed differently). The balcony is very small (typical Portugal) and faces the inner courtyard, where the warm air accumulates, but it is still nice to sit outside. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need: Nespresso capsule machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, cooker, fridge. The mattress (apparently innerspring) is a bit worn, but I slept well. The bedroom faces the alley, but there is no traffic at night except for the rubbish collectors. When the balcony door and the wooden shutters are closed, you hear almost nothing (I had the acid test: city festival every night, partying locals and music band right next to my house). Several supermarkets nearby, as well as nice cafés and restaurants. Bus stops for various lines all within a radius of 50 - 300 m, train from Santos to Belem/Cascais - very good starting point. Contact with the landlady via messages on booking.com incl. access code, very friendly, everything worked out fine.
