Lalitana Center Apartment

Location was good and apartment is fairly nice.

Too hot, only 1 fan for the entire apartment and no AC. As a result, I had to keep the windows open, but it was then very noisy. Only had 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 night stay and no dishsoap. We had to go buy both. The biggest issue was that the owner sent an incredibly unprofessional and rude message to us afterward. She even personally attacked our character and ability to parent. I want to point out that at no time during our stay did we have an interaction with the owner other than texting on WhatsApp. We followed checkout instructions and cleaned the apartment best we could for several hours. Took out the garbage, but we did leave the recycling. The checkout instructions ask to remove any excess garbage that doesn't fit in the bin, so we took out all the garbage that wasnt in the glass or plastic bins. We were blamed for a broken outdoor chair that we never sat in once, curtains that slid out the rail. That could have been our 18-month-old daughter, but its simple to just put them back on the rail. She also tried to shame us for drinking wine, we had friends come by a few evenings and we shared a few bottles of wine after the baby was asleep. Somehow that makes us unfit parents in her eyes. I understand that we didn't do a deep clean, but truly, we did our best, considering we didnt have any cleaning supplies and my wife had food poisoning. We then received an incredibly rude and unprofessional message. Stating we are bad people and bad parents, and she feels bad for our daughter. It was a malicious message that was only based on us not cleaning her rental apartment good enough. Regardless of what the apartment looked like when we left, the professional thing is you tell your customer the issues and then simply bill them. You dont personally attack them in a message because they didn't clean your apartment good enough.

Great find ! The location is absolutely perfect and everything feels within walking distance. Two balconies to have a yap and a drink on, and the space is clean and tidy.

Due to the nature of the central location it can be pretty noisy at night, but just bring earplugs! Above a restaurant and an Irish bar down the road

Great location right in the center of Lagos, apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Could have done with one more fan (one for each bedroom) as was quite hot with the shutters down to try block the noise from the street.

Perfect location, everything we needed for a self catering stay

View from kitchen/diner balcony not great as it overlooks old kitchen equipment from restaurants and sound from extractor equipment noisy, also towels were an issue as very small and only 2 per person for the whole week. Bossy signs everywhere reminding you to turn off lights put kitchen utensils away no smoking etc

The beds were comfortable and central location. Only thing is the entrance is on a busy restaurant street.

Most nights when you are leaving and coming back you’d be opening door right into diners. Very awkward

Location was 10/10 close to everything. Lita was super sweet and kind even brought us an extra fan.

No AC:( but did appreciate Lita bringing us an extra fan.

The apartment was extremely spacious, with all facilities. We were extremely happy and excited about the location on the first day. The host was very nice and warm.

I did start panicking as I received the code a just few hours before check in after messaging the host a few times. (we checked in at 4) While the location is right in the middle of the action- after the first night the noise started to bother us. Especially from a Karoke bar located right below the accomodation. One could close the windows- but then it would get very suffocating.
