Good welcome. Some food offered, condiments & shower gel available. Plenty of space. Very well equiped. Well located.

Speaks only Portuguese, but no big deal now with DeepL ! Air conditioning not working. Beds are not very confortable. Worn-out pans.

The location was great. Easy access to all grocery stores. Host was very accommodating.

The bathroom shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. There was no clothes drying rack. Need at least one sharp kitchen knife.

Beds, 1 queen bed for my wife and I would be great. 2 separate small beds were not good. That we didn't like.

We know the island well and are usually staying on board a boat. Due to an injury we needed somewhere in Vila do Porto within easy access to everything and we found it here. A special offer price made it very affordable for 18 nights. We were warmly welcomed by Sylvia and her cat who checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and we also appreciated the welcome basket of fresh fruit and local produce. The apartment (we were at the back of the building) is comfortable and homely, well equipped, clean and regularly serviced and within very short walking distance of supermarkets and all facilities. Bus stops are close by. We would certainly stay here again.

The only thing to say is that the beds were not the most comfortable but we got used to them by the end.
